While searching for something on Google Image Search, I somehow stumbled across the image that is still being used as my signature and it lead me to this place. Honestly, I'm surprised to see I still have that poorly-built, quickly-made Photoshop image in my Photobucket account... though I'm more surprised to see this site still exists! I figured the original creator (whoever that was) would've deleted it after realizing people stopped visiting here, but I suppose they most-likely forgot about it as well.
I created this Reggie-specific account all the way back in 2007, I believe. According to my first post, I was Nineteen. At the time of posting this, I am now twenty-seven. To think, around eight years have passed since I last visited this place... back when I was somewhat obsessed with Surf's Up, enjoyed chatting about it with friends, as well as creating fanfics and terrible fan art to "show off my passion for it" or something like that. Then of course, there's the fact that I was so obsessed with Reggie Belafonte and thought he was one of the greatest characters in animation. Funny to think I actually felt that way back then... and though I do still like 'em nowadays, he's no longer on my favorite characters list (or anywhere close to it, really).
Though I'll still happily admit his hair is pretty cool. Such a shame it's actually fake though. Admittedly, I still wish his little humiliation scene near the end of the film was left out, or at the very least, involved something else and the hair was actually real. Why'd the hair have to be fake, man lol XD (and other stuff like that).
(I'm just trying to sound like how I did back then... for old time's sake, you know. It's nostalgic!)
I doubt anyone will read or see this... and even if they do, I doubt they'll remember their username or password to log in so they can reply. But hey, it's still pretty cool seeing this site and some of the things we posted back then, so it's like a little time capsule in that sense. Then again, it's kinda painful in some ways, since my grammar and "Humor" back then were... painful, to say the least. Just be thankful that aforementioned fanfic no longer exists, because let me tell you... it was truly awful.
In any case, to all the folks and friends who used to frequent this site and shared a love for this movie... a toast to all of you~
(Sorry, it's the best I could do!)
